The Paradise Within

Life is a perennial battle
Life is an eternal quest
And he who conquers is the one
Who faces it with all of zest

Life is an abysmal pit
The gravity sucking you down
And the one who overcomes this gravity is he
Who perceives the end waiting with a crown

Life is a struggle every step you take
Destitution hovering all your moves
And the one who walks abreast life is
He who can fit into all the grooves

Life induces tyranny even after the death knell
Entraps you into your own intrigues
And the one who transcends the kiss of death
Is he who attributes magnanimous virtues

Whatever hardships life has to offer
Whatever stakes it contains therein
He who can face it gallantly
Is the one who discovers the paradise within
